Delta Xi Nu

delta xi nu sisters

Delta Xi Nu Multicultural Sorority Inc. is the only sorority on campus that was founded on the basis of multiculturalism. Our 5 culturally diverse founding mothers, from Texas A&M University, wanted to create an organization where women can feel safe expressing their cultural differences. As our mission statement declared, "the Delta Xi Nu Multicultural Sorority Inc. is committed to the furtherance of multiculturalism by promoting diversity and cultural awareness in our local community and throughout the world."

Our National Philanthropy: Domestic Violence Against Women
Our Colors: Red and Silver
Our Symbol: Butterfly

Here at Texas State, we hold true to everything our founders dreamed of. We strive to defy negative stereotypes, and welcome all who want to do the same. We were established as the Lambda Colony on April 20, 2013. We are a tight knit group of women who are ready to expand and spread the amazing joys of multiculturalism on our campus!

We initiated our alpha line of 4 women in Spring 2014. We are small in numbers, but big in heart!

Colony Philanthropy: Suicide and Depression Awareness and Prevention

We are all very excited about meeting new people and expanding our sisterhood.

“Delta Xi Nu isn't just my sorority, it is who I am and what I believe as a person. Being a part of this sorority means that I have a family outside of my own, a family I know I can be myself, share the same values, and just be a part of something I know can change lives someday. Delta Xi Nu is something more than a sorority, it defines me and my sisters and shows what we stand for in a bigger way than we can do ourselves. Our sorority is something beautiful and it's beauty is growing and the beauty will take over campuses all over the nation.”
